Hopewood on 22 November 1951.¹ He died on 26 December 2001 in Oil City at age 81.¹ He was buried in Rynd Farm Cemetery, Cornplanter Township, Venango County.¹

     Robert G. York was born on 21 July 1952 in Oil City, Venango County, Pennsylvania.² He was the son of William H. York and Rita M. Hopewood.¹ He married Madeline E. Nugent on 11 June 1982 in St. Patrick Church, Franklin, Venango County, Pennsylvania.² He died on 18 May 2010 in Cranberry Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania, at age 57.²

     Robert G. York was living in Oil City, Venango County, Pennsylvania, in 2001 when his father died.¹ According to the obituary, Robert G. York was survived by five children, Alicia C. York and her husband, Patrick Williams, of Franklin, Robert Paul York and his wife, Michelle, of Selma, N.C. Holland Bruce Moser and his wife, Pam, of Selma, N.C., Michael William Moser and his wife, Elizabeth, of Selma, N.C., and Elijah David Earp of Knox. He was also survived by 11 grandchildren, Amber, Stephanie, Isaac, Holland, Matthew, Emma, Giavonna, James, Alice, Liliyan and Mariah.²
