     Oscar Lewis Tarr was born on 10 August 1917 in Rynd Farm, Cornplanter Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Oliver Ceylon Tarr and Helen Clare Tracy.1 He married Eileen Graybill on 11 April 1941 in Winchester, Virginia.1 He died on 1 August 1995 in Titusville, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, at age 77.1 He was buried in Rynd Farm Cemetery, Cornplanter Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania.1
     Oscar Lewis Tarr served in the U. S. Army during World War II in Europe.1 He was employed by Koppers for 32 years, retiring in 1979.1
